Mayar Sherif’s professional tennis career has been marked by steady progress and significant breakthroughs. She turned professional in 2015 and has since established herself as one of the leading Arab tennis players.
WTA Tour
Sherif has competed on the WTA Tour since 2017, primarily in the International and Challenger tournaments. She achieved her breakthrough WTA title in 2022 at the Open 6ème Sens Métropole de Lyon, becoming the first Egyptian woman to win a WTA singles title.
